Shipping & Returns

Airplane Models is committed to quality customer service and a pleasant online shopping experience!

SHIPPING POLICY: Our shipping charges are based on standard FedEx Ground for Mainland US, USPS Priority Mail for P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO addresss, and FedEx International for international deliveries. To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Our system will automatically detect the best shipping option for your destination.

Airplane Models also offers 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 48 contiguous United States. Please contact us to avail of this service.

Orders to be shipped out of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii) are sent by USPS Priority Mail. These orders are not eligible for Fedex services. If you choose Priority Mail, unfortunately, there is no way to track the order in transit. We also ship to A.P.O. addresses via US Priority Mail only. Tracking numbers are provided for Fedex and USPS EMS deliveries. Customer assumes 100% risk when shipping any other method besides Fedex.

ITEMS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK:
You will be contacted via email if you ordered an out of stock item. At this point you can either choose to substitute for another item in stock, remove it from your order, cancel your order or place your order temporarily on hold until your item is in stock again. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when an out of stock item will be in stock again.

If you choose to remove the out of stock item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.

RETURN POLICY:
1. The Sales Manager must authorize all returns or exchanges. E-mail Returns.

2. All claims for credit, shortages and/or damages must be placed within 30 days of receipt of merchandise.

3. All returned merchandise must be received by Airplane Models in saleable condition, unless the merchandise is found to be defective.

CUSTOMER RETURNS:
1. The shipping cost of any returns or exchanges remain the responsibility of the customer, unless the merchandise is being returned because the order was incorrectly filled by us or the merchandise is defective.
