Reminisce on the breathtaking memories of yesterday with our H8K Kawanishi wooden desktop.
Every Kawanishi H8K transport plane is a work of art which undergoes sanding, carving, painting, detailing and coating to a done wooden replica of the Kawanishi H8K. The actual H8K Kawanishi Emily paint scheme and markings are painted to the assembled Kawanishi H8K airplane model. Each Kawanishi H8K desktop model aircraft transport reflects the true image, colors and markings of the actual Kawanishi H8K. Each H8K Kawanishi model is made of admirable quality. To ensure a damage-free product straight to your doorstep, the H8K Kawanishi model desk top with its base stand is safely covered with foam and carefully packed in a box.
The H8K entered production in 1941 and first saw operational use on the night of March 4, 1942 in an attempt at a second raid on Pearl Harbor. Since the target lay out of range for the flying boats, this audacious plan involved a refuelling by submarine at French Frigate Shoals en route. Two planes attempted to bomb Pearl Harbor but, due to poor visibility, did not accomplish any significant damage.
